We are proud to be mentioned at the magazine “Elle Decor”, in an article about candles you never want to light. Among them, we find three candles of Cerabella. We have to say that we are totally agree with this publication: We also like them very much without lighting them, although they are even more incredible then.

A heady combination of the sea, salt and sun. The Mediterranean at its purest leaves its mark on Cerabella’s candle, which is much more than a journey into the heart of the Costa Brava. An adventure and a summer dream in search of sea urchins—called uriços by locals.
Uris is made up of, on the one hand, a lantern shaped like a sea urchin, and on the other hand, an elegant candle with a sinuous shape that fits inside. As the candle is lit, a spectacular play of lights and shadows begins.
The inside interchangeable candle, once has been used up, you can replace it with another one while keeping the sculpture intact. An innovative decorative idea available in six colors and three sizes to suit different spaces and styles.

Géomètre Collection està formada per quatre famílies de productes, totes elles inspirades en l’origami, l’art japonès de fer figures de paper mitjançant plecs geomètrics.
El resultat són unes espelmes molt originals i espectaculars. Un homenatge a la creativitat i al disseny que sempre caracteritzen les espelmes de Cerabella, i també una picada d’ullet a la calma i a l’equilibri, que segons la filosofia oriental, ens aporta la pràctica de l’origami.

The history of wax is full of symbolism.
As candlemakers we have the fortune of making a product whose value is usually enriched by the significance that people gives to candles once they are lit: from the wishes that will come true when blowing out the candles on a birthday cake, to the countdown to Christmas of the candles in an Advent crown.
Since ancient times, one of the most common meanings related to wax was the sense of gratitude offerings operated by the ex-votos.
In Cerabella, we have recovered the 1862 moulds of our original ex-votos to make these wax sculptures that bring to nowadays home interiors such a visual strenght:
