Cerabella protagonist in Barcelona’s Design Museum


The Barcelona Design and the Crafts Museum of the Generalitat de Catalunya have selected two pieces from Cerabella to be exhibited, along with those of other renowned designers such as Manuel Pertegaz or Martín Azúa, in the tile and crafts exhibition: Contemporary Artisan Proposals.


Atmosphère and Stabilo by André Ricard are the two collections chosen by the Design museum of Barcelona to represent the profession of chandler today. Two different collections that show the two sides of this exhibition: crafts and design.

This exhibition aims to raise awareness through artisan products and tiles, the way in which current design has been nurturing traditional crafts to create their own products, as well as artisan objects have also evolved including design nuances in them. In addition, the two pieces selected to exhibit will remain to form part of the museum’s collection.
