Summer candles

When we asked our perfumists to work on a new and more natural citronella fragrance, we couldn’t imagine that their proposal would please us so much. To the Java citronella oil, they added Eucalyptus oil from Indonesia and essence from the peels of Sicilian oranges and Mediterranean lemons. The result is a deliciously citrus greenish scent that makes our candles and diffusers both effective and natural against bugs.
Do not worry about mosquitoes during Summer outdoor events: just set a reed diffuser or light a candle to keep insects away!

Tropical weather (but without bugs)

Let’s enjoy Summer under the green leaves with citronella candles to protect you from bugs.

Cerabella’s essential oil of citronella is 100% natural from Java Island. This citronella essence is blended with natural orange peel oil, eucalyptus oil and lemon natural essence in order to achieve an effective but soft and pleasant fragrance.

New Candles for a New Year

Now it seems difficult to think about good weather, but we have spent so many days working on the news for the coming season that we just cannot wait to show them to you:

Summer candles

Summer Solstice in Barcelona is celebrated with campfires, candles and fireworks that illuminate with magic the shortest of all nights.

Cerabella candleshops have inaugurated this Summer with torches and candles prepared for these nights of music and party.
Not only are they suitable for outdoors burning, but also they are insect repellent candles due to their natural citronella scent!

Even more candles!

Our new candles catalogue offers plenty of strong reasons to lighten up your nights and days:

Candles for the Summer Solstice

The shortest night of the year is also the most bright in Barcelona due to open-air parties and fireworks that celebrate the beginning of the Summer season. Can you imagine a better way to illuminate Summer nights than these torches for the garden or the beach? In Cerabella’s shop windows we have everything ready for the music to begin. Happy Summer for you all!

Did you know that you should never blow to extinguish a torch flame? Our advice is to smother its flame by using a metallic lid. (Also remember not to use water in order to avoid hot wax splattering!)

Citronella Scented Candles

Summer reading in the porch, dinners alfresco or parties on the beach: warm weather brings a thousand plans for living outdoors. In order to enjoy them without indtruders, we suggest our CITRONELLA scented candles.

CITRONELLA oil is a natural insect repellent obtained from Lemongrass leaves (Cymbopogon). Its aromatic and antiseptic properties explain its use in perfumery, natural medicine and aromatherapy.

The delicious citric flavour of lemongrass leaves can be tasted as an infusion or as a refreshing condiment in Thai and Caribbean dishes such as teas, soups and curries.

CITRONELLA candles are efficient against mosquitoes.

Apart from pillar candles or CITRONELLA tealights to perfume indoors, we suggest candles in container, torches and any other large wick candle that burns despite the airdraughts to really enjoy insect-free sunsets in the garden.

Cactus flower

Owl-candles are watching the flower-candles blooming from wax flowerpots. Fuchsia, orange, soft blue, yellow or apple green: our exotic coloured garden grows not only paper cactus but also cactus made of wax.
